The event was a great success, and it is hoped that the scholarship beneficiaries will make good use of this opportunity and eventually give back to others in the future.
The University of Ghana Students Financial Aid Office (SFAO) currently spearheaded by Ms. Selina Torrison Saaka is responsible for administering scholarships and other forms of financial assistance to needy but brilliant students at the University of Ghana. The SFAO works with donors, both within and outside the university, to provide scholarships to students who have demonstrated academic excellence but lack the financial resources to pay for their education. The office also provides guidance and support to students on issues relating to scholarships, grants, loans, and other forms of financial assistance. The SFAO plays a vital role in ensuring that students at the University of Ghana have access to quality education regardless of their financial backgrounds.
