UG GRASAG: INTERIM MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE AND DEVELOPMENT FUND BOARD

On 25th January 2023, Prof. Gordon Awandare - the University of Ghana Pro-Vice Chancellor in charge of Student and Academic Affairs, successfully inaugurated an Interim Management Committee (IMC) for the Graduate Students' Association of Ghana (GRASAG - LEGON) and the UG GRASAG Development Fund Board.

At the inauguration ceremony, the Pro-Vice Chancellor urged the Interim Management Committee to facilitate the conduct of elections to ensure that among others, substantive GRASAG executives would be elected to manage the affairs of the Graduate Students' Association of Ghana ( GRASAG - LEGON).

Also present at the ceremony was Prof. Rosina Kyerematen - the University of Ghana Dean of Student Affairs who also complimented the outgone GRASAG Executives for their devotion towards the inauguration of the Development Fund Board. The Dean of Student Affairs congratulated the board members and emphasized the need for the board to be responsible for the smooth operations of the fund aimed at supporting needy Graduate students and serving as an alternative source of funding for graduate research.
