Bright The University of Ghana is set to hold its graduation ceremony in March 2023 and Creativepoint Media, in partnership with BraKOFI, is offering exclusive graduation photo shoot packages to commemorate the occasion. According to the available packages, clients can choose from four different options: The first package, priced at Gh¢120.00, includes two edited photos and one retouched photo. The second package, priced at Gh¢170.00, includes five edited and two retouched photos. For the third package, priced at Gh¢250.00, clients will receive eight edited photos and four retouched photos. The fourth package, priced at Gh¢450.00, includes ten edited photos, five retouched photos, and one A4 frame. Lassa Fever Outbreak Confirmed in Ghana

McBest Online News, Accra. By: Siaw M. Bright The Ghana Health Service has confirmed the outbreak of Lassa Fever in the country, with 14 cases identified so far. According to a press release issued on February 28, 2023, two cases were initially confirmed, and after contact tracing and testing, 12 more cases were confirmed. One person has died, and the 13 other cases are receiving treatment in designated health facilities and are said to be in stable condition. The Ghana Health Service has further identified 97 contacts and is working to identify more. A probable case has also been reported from the Central Region, and efforts are being made to identify and monitor contacts while awaiting confirmation. Psychological support is being provided to all cases and contacts. SUPPLEMENTARY RESIT REGISTRATION DEADLINE EXTENDED - UGSRC

UG Campus, Accra. By: Siaw M. Bright  The University of Ghana Student Representative Council (UGSRC) has announced an extension of the registration deadline for supplementary re-sit. In a statement released on 24 February 2023, the Deputy PRO of UGSRC, Ms. Ernestina Hamdiiya Mahama, explained that the extension had become necessary due to the increased cost of supplementary re-sit registration. Notably, the extension will last for an extra week, giving students until Friday, March 3, 2023, to complete their registrations. The SRC has urged students to take advantage of this extension and complete their registrations within the scheduled time.
